Steven Clarke was born on the 10th March 1955 and attended school at Selborne College in East London, matriculating in 1972. Steven is a keen sportsman and played first team rugby at school and at university. He graduated from Rhodes University with a B.Comm. LLB in 1979.
He commenced Articles of Clerkship with Marshall and Kaplan in 1980 and was admitted as an Attorney in 1982 and shortly thereafter as a Notary Public. Steve specializes in Family Law, Litigation, Arbitration and Commercial Law.

He is a past President of the East London Attorneys Association. He is also a member of the East London Association of Arbitrators. Steven is a keen angler and hunter. He is married to Bonnie and has a son and a daughter.
